Time to Pick Up Meds from the Health Office

MEDICATIONS IN THE SCHOOL HEALTH OFFICE



ATTENTION PARENTS/GUARDIANS:

IF YOU’VE BROUGHT ANY MEDICINES, PRESCRIPTION OR OVER THE COUNTER, TO THE HEALTH OFFICE FOR YOUR STUDENT THIS SCHOOL YEAR, THEY MUST BE PICKED UP NO LATER THAN 3:00 PM ON THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL, MAY 24th.  THE HEALTH OFFICE CAN NOT HOLD ANY MEDICATIONS OVER THE SUMMER BREAK.

ANY MEDICATION NOT PICKED UP BY 3:00 PM MAY 24th WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE HEALTH OFFICE FOR DISPOSAL.

I am excited for our new school year to begin.  It will be wonderful to have students back on campus.  A special welcome to our new sixth grade families from Manzanita, Sunrise Drive and other elementary schools!   The staff at Orange Grove Middle School extends a warm welcome to all new and returning families. Please contact us if we can do anything to support a smooth transition into the school year for your child. Counselor's Corner December Edition The theme of the month is “Kindness”, which blends well with the Holiday Season upon us.  In the hustle and bustle of all December brings, it’s important to step back, take a breath, and reflect on the season’s true meaning. Celebrating family traditions of kindness and giving, or starting new ones, is a great way to reconnect with your middle school child. Need some ideas? Here are a few: Volunteer at an animal shelter.  Donate towels or your time, both would be greatly appreciated. Also, consider sponsoring an adoption which will allow a cat or dog a better chance of finding a forever home. Visit a nursing home and spend time talking with the residents.   Volunteer at a homeless shelter preparing and serving meals. Go to the grocery store together to buy food for a charity.
