OGMS Cultural Luncheon
A Celebration of Diversity


January 26, 2017

Share a very special event and dine with your child during their regular lunch period.  We will feature delicious cultural delicacies highlighting the cuisine of Germany, India and Vietnam!  This event will showcase the talents of our visual and performing arts program.

Our Menu includes:
Schweinenbraten (roast pork with caraway and mustard) with Sauerkraut and Rice
Tandoori Chicken with vegetable brown rice
Bahn Mi sandwich (seasoned turkey filling. topped with Asian slaw, cucumber slices, cilantro, sliced onion and jalepenos) with vegetable brown rice
Cinnamon apples

Parents, please RSVP by Friday January 20th to 209-8201
(Students do not need an RSVP for this special luncheon celebration.)




First Lunch:  11:17 a.m.                  Second Lunch 12:07 p.m.

You will be notified by the Superintendent if your student has been accepted to OGMS through the Open Enrollment Program, and you will receive instructions about registering your student(s) at that time.

Dr. Julie Nikolas, Assistant Principal - I am excited to be a part of CFSD! I choose to serve in education because I believe the mind is beautiful & I love helping others. I grew up in South Dakota & earned my professional degrees in Educational Leadership from the University of South Dakota. I completed undergraduate degrees at Northern State University in elementary/middle school education and K-12 Music Education. This year I am blessed to serve as the Assistant Principal at OGMS and as a Learning Support Specialist for the District. I dedicated my professional life to 22+ years classroom teaching and 15+ years leadership, supervision, human resources, and training & development. I love learning. I am a widow but have a wonderfully supportive and fun family with two children enrolled in college.
